Ladies Bible Study

2007 has concluded and we welcome 2008! Are you in search of an intimate walk with Christ? Do you
desire to hear from Him?

He desires to speak to you and me personally. He wants us to hear His voice, understand and obey. Well my dear sister, no need to look any further! We will
discover together that God doesn’t only speak to some
believers or to only those who have reached some
mystical level of spiritual competence; He’s ready to
speak to you and me, if we would listen. So have you
become satisfied with a mediocre Christian existence
that sits on the side lines while those that we consider
to be “highly spiritual” have a relationship with God?
I pray not! One of the rights and privileges
that we all have as followers of our Lord is that He
speaks to us, each of us…one on one. Whether you
sit in the pew, teach a small Bible study in your home
or speak to a crowded auditorium; whether your
mission field is across the street or across the world,
He can and will speak to you! He doesn’t play favorites.
He Speaks to Me: Preparing to Hear from God
a Bible study by Priscilla Shirer will draw life lessons
from the account of God speaking to the boy Samuel.
In this beloved Bible story found in 1 Samuel 3, she
relates six characteristics found in Samuel that are
applicable to women today as they tune their hearts
to hear God’s voice. These characteristics are: A
Simple Relationship, A Set Apart Holiness, A Still
Attentiveness, A Single-Minded Worship, A Sold Out
Hunger, and A Servant’s Spirit. By listening to God’s
voice and obeying Him, we will be drawn into a closer
relationship to God that brings a deeper desire to serve Him faithfully.

Ladies mark your calendars and schedule a
date with God. Let’s make this our New Year’s
resolution. It’s a time to begin afresh and anew. God’s
waiting for you…will you come join Him?
