Missions/Ministries

Missions and community ministries God has blessed us with.

Shining Light Church: A new church start in northwest Miami Dade where that we are sponsoring as David Janaro and his wife Cheryl humbly begin this work as God leads. A block party is planned late March with home bible studies beginning in January 2006.

Mission Trips: In 2007, a group of adults traveled to Kentucky to help with the rebuilding of homes and lives and a group of our youth
participated in World Changers - Vero Beach. They participated in home repairs and made a difference in people's lives as well as the community. Currently, future mission trips are being considered as we continue to make a difference for God's glory.

Haiti: Helping provide tuition for schooling for local children. Helping to provide school and worship buildings along with medical care for local residence.

Miami Rescue Mission: Coming along side of those who at this time are experiencing a rough time. We offer a worship time twice a month with music and sharing God’s word.

Habitat for Pines: Members coming together to help our folks with home projects. We will be learning new skills and preparing to go out as God leads us to other parts of this city, country, and world.

King's Way Church: We have partnered with King's Way in their effort to reach out to those who are transitioning from a destructive lifestyle to a God-honoring lifestyle. Once a month, we provide child-care, Bible study for youth and help with the worship service.

Creole Bible Study @ PBC: Each Friday, under the leadership of Rev. Sony Fenelon, a group gathers to study the Word of God in Creole. This group is much more than a Bible study group. They care for each other and reach out in practical ways to show the love of God to Creole-speaking residents of our community.
